The kitchen you have, in the color you want
Most kitchens built in the last twenty-five years have perfectly good cabinet boxes in a color that has dated. Espresso, honey oak, builder maple. The layout works, the drawers close, and the only thing wrong is the finish. Replacing all of it to fix a color is the expensive way to solve the problem.
Refinishing keeps the boxes, doors, and layout and gives them a new sprayed finish in the color you want, with new hardware. Done properly, it is indistinguishable from new painted cabinetry.
How we refinish
Doors and drawer fronts come off and go to our shop, where they are degreased, sanded, primed, and sprayed in a controlled environment. Boxes are prepped and sprayed in place with the kitchen masked off. Everything cures, then doors go back on with new hinges and hardware and are adjusted for even gaps. We use catalyzed finishes made for cabinetry, not wall paint.
Pair it with an island or countertop
The two refinish projects in our gallery both paired a new finish with something structural: a waterfall island in one, new hardware throughout in the other. A refinish plus one upgrade is where the value is. You get most of a remodel’s impact and none of its demolition.
Beyond kitchens
The same process works for bathroom vanities, built-in bookcases, media walls, laundry cabinets, and interior trim, doors, and stair railings that were stained dark when the rest of the house has gone light.
Start with a photo
Send us a photo of the kitchen and the color you are thinking about. We will tell you whether the cabinets are good candidates, show you finish samples, and give you a cost structure before anything is scheduled.
