The room
An open kitchen that runs the length of the house, with a bar area off the family room. The client wanted a bright kitchen with warm hardware and one strong color, and a bar that matched without copying the kitchen exactly.
What we did
Cabinetry runs to the ceiling on the appliance wall, with pantry towers flanking the refrigerator and a double wall oven set at eye level. The island picks up the blue from the bar’s shiplap wall so the two spaces read as one design. Brass pulls, the faucet, and the pendant hardware tie it together.
The beverage bar carries the same shaker doors and brass pulls, with a glass mosaic backsplash and two under-counter refrigerators for wine and drinks.
