Remodeling in St. Petersburg

St. Pete’s older neighborhoods are the reason people move here. Old Northeast, Kenwood, and Crescent Lake are full of 1920s bungalows and 1950s homes with real character and kitchens that were never meant for how families cook now. The challenge is remodeling them without flattening what makes them good.

That is where planning earns its keep. We match new cabinetry to the trim profiles and proportions the house already has, plan kitchens that open up without removing the walls that give the rooms their shape, and design built-ins that look like they were always there. In the downtown condos and the newer homes in Shore Acres and Snell Isle, the work is more contemporary: flat-panel cabinetry, integrated storage, and finishes chosen for the light.

Historic and flood considerations

Parts of St. Pete have historic district guidelines and most of the waterfront neighborhoods have flood-zone rules that affect what can be done below a certain elevation. We identify what applies in planning and coordinate permitted work with licensed professionals.
